Q- What are the types of check valves (चेक वाल्व कितने प्रकार के होते हैं) ?
Answer: Check valves are divided into two types based on the check mechanism (चेक वाल्व को चेक तंत्र के आधार पर दो प्रकारों में विभाजित किया गया है):
A) Lift check valve (लिफ्ट चेक वाल्व): These valves have a disc that lifts up when the fluid is flowing in the correct direction, and closes when the fluid is flowing in the wrong direction. Lift check valves are more expensive than swing check valves, but they are quieter and can handle higher pressures and velocities.
B) Swing check valve (स्विंग चेक वाल्व ): These valves have a disk that swings open when the fluid is flowing in the correct direction, and closes when the fluid is flowing in the wrong direction. Swing check valves are simple and inexpensive, but they can be noisy and can be damaged by high-pressure or high-velocity fluids.
Q- What do you mean by special purpose valves (विशेष प्रयोजन वाल्व से आप क्या समझते हैं?)?
Answer: Valves that perform duties other than the two-way isolation, control and check are called special purpose valves (वे वाल्व जो दो-तरफ़ा अलगाव, नियंत्रण और जाँच के अलावा अन्य कार्य करते हैं, विशेष प्रयोजन वाल्व कहलाते हैं).
Q- What are Glandless piston valves and where these are used (ग्लैंडलेस पिस्टन वाल्व क्या हैं और इनका उपयोग कहां किया जाता है)?
Answer: Glandless piston valves are regulating valves used in steam services (ग्लैंडलेस पिस्टन वाल्व भाप सेवाओं में उपयोग किए जाने वाले विनियमन वाल्व हैं).
